Mute - Memories [Original Mix] (Rating and Review)

Mute - Memories [Original Mix] (Rating and Review)

A very good and talented producer, I really like his music. His music is so trippy which makes it so good and fun to listen to.

I do love his track "Mute - Memories [ Original Mix ]". The bass line is very cool and the lead works very well in harmony with it. The drums are very effective. Everything about this track it trippy as hell but that is what makes it awesome. I like the melody, nice and simple but works so well, I also love the way the melody changes slightly throughout the track, it adds variation. The random vocals are perfect as they really make the track.

Track Rating - 7.5/10 - More than worth a listen, a producer with a bright future.

Jose - Calvin Harris Feat.John Newman: Blame Remix & Timid Britain (Artist and Tracks Rating and Review)

Jose - Timid Britain (Artist and Track Rating and Review)

I have only gone and found another great producer for you guys today. It's Jose! From what I see on his SoundCloud profile, Jose likes a good remix, a lot of his productions are remixes of great music. I fantastic thing about Jose is that the remixes he does are just as good if not better than the original track which is quite rare to get in my opinion.

My favorite track of his is  "Calvin Harris Feat. John Newman: Blame (Jose Remix)"  It is just such a powerful remix, the drums are so punchy and awesome, the melody has been slightly changed for the better. I think this is the only remix of "Blame" which is actually better than the original track. The mixing is great, I love the way there are only very few sounds in this track but they all work and sound so effective in harmony with each other.

Another great track by Jose isJose: Timid Britain (Feat. JWhale). I love almost everything about this track, the opening drum beat sounds brilliant and the lyrics are funny and quite realistic. Great vocalist, sounds really effective. The build up to the drop is great and the drop itself is solid and works fantastic. Definitely worth a listen, especially for British teenagers.

Artist rating - 8/10 - Might not appeal to everyone but still a talented producer with an extremely bright future. All of his music to date is a free download on his SoundCloud so download as much as you like, support him on the links below.

Matthew Telles - Living Colors + Artist and Track Rating and Review

Matthew Telles - Living Colors + Artist and Track Rating and Review

Oh Yes, I have another outstanding EDM producer to show off to you today, and as you can tell from the title, it's Matthew Telles. First off, I have to say, from the two tracks he currently has on his SoundCloud, he is most definitely and producer to look out for in the near future of EDM. He has really entered the world of EDM strongly with these two incredible tracks, the track I will be rating and reviewing for you will be "Living Colors".

"Living Colors"

Well, this track is well and truly alive with an incredible melody. This is the type f music which I could listen to for hours. The intro is beautiful and really comes to life when the melody fades in. Unlike in other pieces of music I have heard from similar producers, non of the the sounds are overwhelming and they all work amazingly in harmony with each other. The drop is great and I love the kick, it works perfectly with the track.

This track is available for free download on his SoundCloud, I would not miss out on this splendid opportunity to download it.

Rating - 10/10 - It's like a massage to your ears.

UNKNØWN - 14Ø EP - Track by track Review and Rating

UNKNØWN - 14Ø EP - Track by track Review and Rating

1. "F!RE"

UNKNØWN
Artist Logo

A cool fast-paced track with really awesome sounds which make it both exciting and fun to listen to. One thing I love about this track is that is never slows down from start to finish, and when it does the build up to the next drop is exceptional. My favorite part of this track is at around 2:40 it all slows down and you begin to hear some quieter, melodic parts. A criticism, which is really hard to think of (as this track is so good) is that there is not that much variation between the drops, but that can be forgiven as the drop itself is so effective. - Rating - 9/10

2. "Electric City"

I have to say, the introduction to this track is brilliant, it really demonstrated a lovely melody straight away which was cool. I also loved the transition from the intro to the drop, the kick sounded brilliant and really set the tone for the whole track, especially with the snare drum. Again, like F!re, the sounds were well picked and non of them felt out on place. A great and clean mix from a talented producer which accounted for a good sounding track - Rating - 10/10 - Nothing bad to say.

3. Asør

First off, I love this bass line, it's so trippy. The opening synth also sounded really good with a sweet and ambient melody which sounded even better later on in the track with the hi-hats. The best part in the track came at around 2:50 with the drop, the harmony of all the different synths and bass sounded really effective. Another great part of this track at 3:15 when the other synth was introduced for the second drop, it sounded great and added more complexity to the track as a whole. - Rating - 9/10 - Did not sound as good as "Electric City" in my opinion.

Overall Rating - 9/10 - Well worth a listen, the tracks are available for free download on UNKNØWN's  profile, I recommend you support him and download them.

Martin Garrix luanches new Record Label "STMPD RCRDS" & release date for "Now That I've Found You"

As you probably have heard, since departing Spinnin' Records, Martin Garrix started work on his own Record Label "STMPD RCRDS".

As exciting as this sounds, what can we really expect from this? Well, Martin Garrix himself had this to say,
"My aim with STMPD RCRDS is to foster an artist first community to support great music. It's important for young, undiscovered talent and veterans alike to have a support system that is invested in and dedicated to their success above all else".

Above image shows logo for "STMPD RCRDS"

Garrix is starting is own label after stopping is long term deal with Spinnin' Records, which did not end well, after the two parties have been firing shots at each other ever since the break up. This has caused other EDM producers to leave the label as well as Martin Garrix. Martin yesterday teased us with a first release for his new record label "Martin Garrix - Now That I've Found You (Feat. John and Michael)". This will be the first release from STMPD RCRDS. Listening to this track you may feel you have heard it before, that's because you have, it uses the same melody as previous fan favorite Garrix track "Don't Crack Under Pressure", this new version sounds AMAZING in my opinion.

Release date for "Now That I've Found You" - March 11th 2016
